Job Nature: Full Time.
Location: Sirajganj.
Job Description / Responsibility:
- Provide quality STI services to MSM/ Hijra at DIC/ Sub-DIC.
- Conduct physical examinations to the patients as required.
- Proper Infection prevention procedure is maintained.
- To write Medical prescription properly with history, present conditions and to provide proper drug.
- To provide DOTs to beneficiaries of DIC/ Sub-DIC.
- Ensure dispensing drugs properly and the patients can understand the messages
- Provide condoms to STI patients and demonstrate for proper use
- Provide general health services to the patients
- Ensure well organized clinical set up, like patient bed, spot light, maintain privacy, etc.
- Ensure that the medicine are kept in the store in a proper way having proper ventilation.
- Refer beneficiaries for VCT and Assist VCT Counselor as and when required.
- Ensure proper use of clinical equipment.
- Ensure that clinic has adequate lighting facilities.
- Ensure water supply.
- Ensure the use of gloves during physical examination.
- Ensure to maintain ethical issues like confidentiality, non discrimination attitude towards MSM/Hijra, respect and dignity of patients.
- Maintain Clinic Filing and necessary Record Keeping system.
- Ensure proper registration of patients, Keep records with the particulars of those patients.
- Provide appropriate information and advice to the patients.
- Prepare patient`s list according to the referrals from Outreach Supervisor and Peer Educator for each working day.
- To Perform some specific tasks such as: Measure pressure & weight and Inject the patients when necessary.
- Ensure the cleanliness and supervision of the clinical apparatus on regular basis.
- Maintain medicine stock register and provide medicine to patients.
- Submit monthly report about the clinical clients to the DIC Manger
- Maintain confidentiality and security of the client at all times.
- Ensure the proper application of all monitoring tools which are used for monitoring the clinical activities.
- Ensure to maintain the confidentiality of all clients.
- Provide counseling assistance to Personal risk assessments, Safer sex behaviors and Partner notification.
- Perform 4Cs according to guideline during counseling.
- Fill out the STI health card and other clinic related format properly.
- Fill out the drug register regularly and review drug stock.
- Review regularly overall clinic performance and Guide the staff.
Educational Requirements: 4 years medical diploma from any recognized Institution (MATS).
Experience Requirements: 1 to 2 year(s).

- Have good analytical skill.
Salary Range:Tk. 13471.
Other Benefits: As per project budget allocation.
