- Light House is national level organization working in 29 districts to serves the socially and economically less privileged people in Bangladesh, who are deprived of quality health care facilities in teams of both general and reproductive health, nutrition and income generating opportunities, and equitable access to justice; and are vulnerable to climate change effects.
- Light House has been implementing a project titled " Improve the quality of life of the women and children residing in the brothel of Mymensingh and Tangail through capacity building and facilitating essential HIV/PMTCT and SRH services" with the support from UNAIDS,UNICEF and UNFPA .Light House is looking dynamic professionals for the position of Medical Assistant for its Comprehensive Service Center ( CSC) based in Mymensingh Brothel.
চাকরির দায়িত্বসমূহ
- Provide quality SRH, STI and HIV prevention services to Female Sex Workers (FSWs) through Comprehensive service Center (CSC) at Mymensingh .
- Conduct physical examination of FSWs maintaining privacy and confidentiality
- Maintain record of health complications of each FSW at the health card and reporting accordingly
- Ensure STI treatment based on National STI guideline
- Conduct HIV testing and pre and post-test counselling
- Facilitate Ca cervix screening process for VIA test and TB Screening from DOTS Center
- Initiate linking to HIV positive pregnant mother and infants to ART Center
- Management of general ailment
- Ensure quality of the pharmaceuticals and maintain proper clinical set up as per guideline
- Guide and help in building capacity of the change agents in terms of conductive health education sessions and bring FSWs at CSC for clinical service .
- Coordinate care, treatment and support service providers to ensure referral linkage as required
- Produce report of clinical services and submit to CSC Managers monthly and quarterly basis
- Ensure ethical issues like confidentiality,non-discriminatory attitude towards FSWs and treat them with respect and dignity
- Perform all the other tasks assigned by the Supervisor

- 4 years Diploma in Medical Faculty (Group - MATS) from recognized Institutions along with completion of Internship in Government or Non-Government hospital.
