Job Context
- This position is responsible to provide routine and emergency medical support to the factory employees. Medical Assistant will play a key role in identifying health concerns and treatment measures, providing instruction, counseling and guidance in the maintenance of good health practices and disease prevention.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in health care support of employees.
- Assist the Medical Officer for checking the Patient.
- Prepare Medical Officer's room for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean.
- Arrange small surgery, preliminary treatment to injury, burn dressing.
- Appraise the Patients how to take the medicine.
- Prepare Medicine requisition and collect medicine.
- Maintain Accident Register, Patient Register.
- Provide necessary counseling /advice to the pregnant workers as necessary.
- Responsible for dressing of wounds, minor injuries, skin infections and administrating drugs as prescribed by the doctors.
- Explain treatment procedures, medications, diets or Medical Officers instructions to patients.
- Maintain medical stability, action taken on emergency medical stability, action taken on emergency medical situations.
- Assist in the transfer of sick patients to hospital as advised by Doctor's and the safe handover of patient.
- Maintain relevant/ medical equipment/ medicine inventory.
- Assist in preparation of monthly clinical report.
- Disposal all medical wastage & maintain proper record.
- Maintain Health Check up Report and Coordinate with Diagnostic Center about yearly Health Check up.
- Visit the different floors of the factories medical center site and ensure first-aid facilities.
- Conduct Training for First Aider of the factory
- Responsible to support advice & counsel the employees experiencing health problems.
- Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure their vital signs, weight and previous diseases history.
- Need to work in different shifts of the factory.
- Carry out any other jobs as assigned from time to time.

Educational Requirements
- At least 4 years Medical Assistant or equivalent degree from any recognized medical institution
- Skills Required: Nurse/ Paramedics
Experience Requirements
- At least 1 year(s)
