> Global One (GO) is a UK-based international development NGO working with communities and change makers, in particular women, to lead the path to their own empowerment, health and sustainable development. With the Country Office in Dhaka and Field Offices in Rajshahi and Cox`s Bazar, Global One Bangladesh has been delivering more than 10 projects in Dhaka, Gazipur, Narayanganj, Mymensingh, Rajshahi, Chapainawabganj, Barguna, Chittagong, Cox`s Bazar and Sylhet. Global One is looking for following Paramedic Doctor to serve the Rohingya Refugees at Ukhia and Teknaf Upazila in the district of Cox`s Bazar.
> 3 Males & 3 Females.
Job Description / Responsibility:
> Ensure GO's services to patients in the clinics according to protocols
> Prepare all the materials and equipment, and ensure that everything is ready before starting the activities
> Follow the basic rules of hygiene when performing reproductive health activities
> Participate actively in triage activities with medical doctors and nurses/midwives
> Assist MBBS doctors and nurses/midwives in performing antenatal and postnatal consultations along with all maternal health services
> including normal deliveryAssist MBBS doctor for performing family planning consultation
> Verify the status of tetanus vaccination for each pregnant woman
> Assist the MBBS doctor in managing emergency cases according to GO protocols and regulations
> Fill in the reproductive health template for each patient
> Conduct health education sessions for the patientsEnsure that patient confidentiality is respected, treating all patients with respect and dignity
> Contribute to the daily data collection regarding reproductive health consultations
> Responsibility for the proper use and maintenance of assigned equipment
> Perform other additional duties on request of the Health Post supervisor and/or technical supervisor
Job Nature: Contractual
Educational Requirements: Paramedic Degree
Experience Requirements:
> At least 2 year(s)
> The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hospital, Clinic
Job Requirements:
> 2 years of experience
> Experience in NGO
> Flexibility in working hours because of the emergency relief nature of GO's activities
> Ability to face workload and good time management
> Knowledge of humanitarian action and will to take part in GO's actions
> Languages: Bangla and Rohingya Refugee/ Cox's Bazar local language compulsory
> The employee shall respect GO's Internal Regulations and Terms and Conditions of Engagement
